Last Heat of the UOW DJ Comp

The last heat of the National Campus DJ Comp is going down out on UOW’s Duckpond Lawn today. Winners of the heat will journey on into the final, held on 6 June as a part of the End of Session Onsie Party.

The DJ Comp is one of Australia’s premier national DJ competitions, backed by over 30 university and TAFE student unions throughout Australia. The annual competition gives student DJs the opportunity to mix it with the industry’s best, giving them valuable experience and feedback from seasoned DJs and helping them to hone their skills.

Mobile reporters Dominique McGovern & Lizzie Hunter spoke to DJ Coda, one of only two female DJs competing in the comp and are catching some of the beats as they unfold.

And the DJing continues on into the afternoon.
