ALP set to unveil Shadow Cabinet

Premier Barry O’Farrell has welcomed speculation Andrew McDonald will be named as the Shadow Spokesman for Health when the Opposition’s frontbench is named later today.

Mr O’Farrell says it is shame someone like Dr McDonald, who has skills to suit the portfolio, is only handed the job in Opposition.

Former Minister Carmel Tebbutt is tipped to to hold the shadow education portfolio and former Premier Nathan Rees is expected to be the Shadow Minister for Police.
